Booking
How do I book?+
Pick a service on its page, add extras if you want them, choose a time and enter your details. The appointment is confirmed instantly and goes straight into our calendar.
Who runs the calendar?+
We do. Square runs the booking calendar and keeps your card details secure behind the scenes; your confirmation, reminders and forms come from us. You never leave our site to book.
Do you take walk-ins?+
No. Avilo is a one-on-one studio by appointment only, which is how every client gets the full time they booked.
Do I need a card on file?+
Yes, for every service. It is held securely by Square and is not charged when you book unless a deposit applies; it is only charged under the cancellation policy or if you choose to pay with it at your visit.
Why is there a deposit?+
Some services require a fifty-dollar deposit: those priced at one hundred dollars and up. It comes straight off your bill at the studio, so your total does not change. Services under one hundred dollars take no deposit.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Twenty-four hours' notice to cancel or move, and nothing is charged; any deposit carries over. Inside twenty-four hours up to half the service may be charged to the card on file, and no-shows may be charged in full; a deposit, if paid, counts toward that. The full policy is on the Policies page.
Where are you?+

Facials
Which facial should I pick?+
New here? The Classic Facial. Acne, Lifting and Brightening each target a specific concern. The Mini is a thirty-minute reset.
Can I add more than one add-on?+
Yes, on any sixty- or seventy-five-minute facial. The Mini takes one.
Is there downtime?+
No. Slight pinkness for an hour at most after extractions or enzyme exfoliation.
Lashes and brows
How long does a lash lift last?+
Six to eight weeks. Nothing to fill or maintain.
What is brow lamination?+
A gentle perm that sets brow hairs upward and in place for four to six weeks.
Can I do lashes and brows together?+
Yes, and it is the best way. Pick a pairing on either page and both are booked into one appointment.
The studio
What forms of payment do you take?+
All major cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Square.
Can I bring a friend or child?+
The studio is a single quiet room, so please come alone unless we have arranged otherwise.
Are you accessible?+
The studio is on the second floor, up the front staircase on the east side of the building. If stairs are difficult, text us before you book and we will make it work.
